Our Map Pilot course is now free. Why did we open it up on this course?

2 reasons. The Map Pilot course was becoming dated. While a lot of the material is relevant today, things are getting a little strange with 3rd party app vendors and DJI. The second reason is we're pulling back on doing 3rd party applications.

DJI is no longer making their SDK (Software Developer Kit) for many of their drone models now. They're forcing drone operators into higher price drones that don't measure up to some of their other drones. We don't want to create classes for the old apps and new apps. It doesn't make sense.

This course will get you up to speed with what you can do with Map Pilot Pro. But we're backing off of the 3rd Party app market space as it's getting difficult to coordinate old iOS versions, new Android versions, and what drones have the SDK and what ones dont.
